Why is my dog suddenly aggressive towards my boyfriend?

I recently moved back in with my parents and my dog, Jojo liked my boyfriend at first but now any time we get close or kiss he will get in between us and whine, he even tried to bite him for just putting his hand on my leg. So why is he suddenly so aggressive?
