Marriage issue: Schzoid Personality/ No ?

There is a lot more to having Schizoid Personality Disorder. If he were Schizoid he would probably have never even dated you in the first place... Schizoids rarely marry and it usually the female Schizoids that do because they are pive in the relationship. Sounds like depression which he has already been diagnosed with. Schizoids are pretty emotionless so there would not be violent outbursts and he would do what he could to avoid fighting with you.... Schizoids are just the ultimate loner.... they do not have friends, do not hang out with family, have blunted emotions, and low affect (do not show emotions on their face because there are none). They do have empathy but avoid all contact with people so it may appear as if they don't. Look into Borderline Personality Disorder.... with the outbursts, suicide attempts, and devaluation of people it would seem to fit.... As for the lack of uality, that could have many reasons..... ever hear any of the millions of jokes about the lack of after marriage??? It is not an uncommon thing for the drive to really slow down after the first year or so of any relationship..... Lack of drive is also closely tied to depression.... And... maybe he just is not an affectionate person, some people are like that.. But it is not Schizoid PD.
