Tv help? flat screen on wall?

To see all the channels you are paying for yes, you will always need some kind of cable box but if you're willing to pay the money or go to the effort there is always a way to conceal these things. A lot depends on your situation though. Since it's cable you will need the box somewhere close because that's what controls the channels you watch, NOT your TV. Most people normally do have some kind of console cabinet below for this very reason, not to mention they often have a DVD player or even a receiver set up plus all the dvds, books, nicknack's and decoration they like to clutter it up with. Believe me, I know where you're coming from but electronics have a lot of ad ons to make them more than just a bare-bones set up. My own Dad learned this a few months ago much to his dismay but even he (probably THE last man on earth to go digital) is coping and doing well with it now. Good luck with whatever you decide.
