My kitten might have conjunctivitis!?

I am really worried my 8 or 9 week old kitten might have conjunctivitis. I need to know the symptoms! We took him to the vet on Monday for some follow up shots he needed. I talked to the vet about him having issues with lots of crusty eye boogers in his eye. They are brown. Occasionally he would wake up with his eye glued shut. The vet gave him an extra shot, but I cant really remember what it was called. Lately he has been washing his eye with his paw. Now something new has been happening. Just tonight is the first time im seeing this... First a big wet clear "tear" like thing fell from his eye. Well it was just staying there until he washed it off. Now I see the same thing but its a boogery green "tear". I am worried about my baby. What should I do?! All suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!! :) Thanks in advance!
