Do they use crash test dummies to test spaceships?

...like the same way they test cars?......do they crash spaceships into asteroids at Mach 7 and see if the dummies get injured?.....are there any safety standards for spaceships?.....If I'm on a spaceship headed for Jupiter or Rigel 7 or whatever I would like to feel safe and it would be good to know that my spaceship has been impact tested and fully spaceworthy.
