Do animals have free will?

I think animals do but don't use it. For example an animal is looking for water and has two choices, one is the closest to him and the other is a far but beautiful walk. The animal can, if he chooses to, go to the farthest one to enjoy the scenery. But I don't think he would because animals live to survive, not to live like humans.
