Whatever happened with term limits?

Looking around the world today these politicos just keep rearranging chairs on the board of directors, Putin's not leaving just taking a different chair, Bill Clinton's not leaving just trying to find another seat, Tony Blair isn't leaving either. The next generation of leaders won't find any open seats because these folks demand the same rights as the Pope, til death do us part!!!
