I'm planning on getting "I am I am I am" tattooed on myself, but I can't decide where at?

It's a quote from The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and it basically is her heartbeat. I'd really like to get it above my left , but I don't know if it would get distorted. I was also thinking maybe wrapping around my wrist or on the inside of my elbow. Any suggestions or tattoo experiences? This is my first tattoo.
