Husband works as contractor in iraq?

i notice i don't hear from him on saturdays or saturday nights, yet he tells me he does nothing, now a contractor is not military, they have few restrictions, they are civilians, what say you? what does he do on his time off? i believe hes located on an air force base, baghdad.
